The most meaningful things often grow quietly, subtle.

An idea. A relationship. Love. Trust. An artistic practice.

Art moves us in a subtle way, too: in intimate moments of attention, devotion and recognition.

The intentional experience of art can be transformative.

At LEISE, we believe in the quiet power of deep connection, genuine care and long-term commitment.

Martha's professional journey combines entrepreneurship, project leadership, artistic practice, and a deep commitment to culture and the arts.

Since 2024, she has been working as an independent Creative Project and Artist Manager, supporting artists across visual arts, music, performance, theatre, and photography. Her work includes strategic development, communication, partnerships, project planning, exhibitions, events, and funding applications.

Before focusing on the cultural sector, she spent more than a decade building and leading organizations. She co-founded and managed MOND Mobility New Designs (2016–2022), an award-winning company for sustainable urban development, where she led strategy, partnerships, communication, and complex multi-stakeholder projects.

From 2022 to 2025, she co-founded and led the Next Generation Academy, an international education and consulting collective operating across Europe and Latin America. There, she developed international partnerships and organized educational programs and events with leading experts and institutions.

Who's behind LEISE

As a musician, entrepreneur, creative and strategist, Martha bridges the worlds of artistic creation and professional project management. She has always been drawn to the in-between: between different perspectives, cultures and artistic genres, where new ideas, connections and innovations emerge.

Martha Marisa Wanat

Alongside her entrepreneurial work, she has remained active as a musician and singer. Music has been a central part of her life since childhood. Raised in a family of musicians, she literally grew up in the midst of rehearsals, performances and conversations about art, culture and creative expression and experienced early on how much dedication, resilience and care are required to sustain a creative practice.

Years of performance experience in classical music, opera, theatre productions, competitions, jazz, and contemporary projects have given her first-hand insight into the realities, challenges, and aspirations of artistic careers.

Today, she brings together the strategic perspective of an experienced project leader and the sensitivity of a practicing artist. Her academic background combines management, cultural studies, sociology, and philosophy, with a particular interest in the role of art as a driver of social transformation.

She believes that artistic work deserves professional support, long-term partnerships, and structures that enable artists to focus on what matters most: creating.
